I use lots of tools for clearing my space and my body energetically, just depending on what feels right at the time. Here are some of them:
Lemons. Another healer taught me to cut up a couple of lemons and add them to the bath to immediately clear my energetic field of any energies that are no longer serving my highest good. I also drink a lot of water with lemons in it.
Dried white sage smudge sticks. I usually get Juniper Ridge white sage smudge sticks and keep these in the house at all times! These are great for smudging your body, your home, your crystals – anything that can use some clearing and some blessing.
Cedar incense. I am in love with this Juniper Ridge cedar incense and am always amazed by how good it makes the room feel. I’m pretty sensitive to smells so I can’t really manage most incense, but this one’s fantastic.
Palo Santo (the healing stick). You light the little sticks and smudge yourself and your space with the smoke. It has a really nice, clean smell. If you can’t find it locally you can get it here.
Mount Shasta blue sage and cedar smudge stick. Kenny and Kira brought home a smudge stick for me from Mount Shasta at the end of their two-month road trip throughout the west. It’s heavenly and mystical, just like the place, and made of blue sage and cedar.
Sea Salt. The best sort is unrefined sea salt, so it still retains its greyish or brownish color or, in the case of Himalayan salt, its gorgeous pink color. I either add this to the bath, or use it as a scrub in the shower to clear any energies that are no longer serving my highest good. You can also put some in tiny jars and set them in corners to ground and clear the room – just change it occasionally. I’m able to find this in bulk at the local health food store. It shouldn’t be scented in any way and shouldn’t cost more than $8-10 for a pretty good-sized bag.
